Kaan Yeter
Kaan Yeter was born in 1990, Istanbul, Turkey.
He studied sociology (2009-2013) and currently he is a 3rd year fine art student at Minerva Academy, Groningen, NL. He is a multi-disciplinary artist that mainly making painting and installation.
"I manipulate the perception on what defines a painting and what is expected. I believe that the true depth of an artwork doesn’t come from the mental process of an artist, nor the technique that he/she is using, but it comes from playing with others’ perception! You don’t need to create something super new to do that, but you just need to make a rearrangement to capture the weak spot of people’s perception. Thus, illusion starts when something doesn't match with our expectations."
